Zuci Alcumus Team Pondy's Trip

Last year, the ALCUMUS team received the second prize of Rs. 50,000 in the League of Superheroes. Yuvaraj, Prithvi, and I quickly hatched a plan. We approached Sri with the plan, and Sri accepted it. A 2-day Pondicherry getaway was then planned.

Two weeks later, we checked into a delightful resort with a pool, turning our prize money into a memorable experience.

Day 1:
Myself and Yuvaraj kick-started from Velechery, heading to ASV Chandiliya Towers. Four cars converged at ASV, and with the beat of a bakthi song (ஒன்பது கோளுà®®் ஒன்à®±ாய் காண பிள்ளையர் பட்டி வர வேண்டுà®®்). Transitioning from spiritual tunes to Tamil kuthu songs.

After an hour's drive, we paused at Mahabalipuram for breakfast at A2B.

Ashwin's car faced a glitch, Yuvaraj also tried but not working. கடைசியா தான் வந்தாà®°ு விநாயக் à®®ாதிà®°ி நம்à®®  Naresh.(Mankatha movie reference). by swiftly connecting with a mechanic and resolving the issue. Sorry to Thala fans 🙃.

We finally reached our resort, Pavisha Farm House, in the afternoon. After refreshing ourselves, we headed to Al Raiyan Restaurant for lunch (Mutton Mandi with Pepper barbeque). The Mutton Mandi there was absolutely amazing, and I'm sure you won't find better anywhere else. Apdi soldravangalku lifetime settlement!!

Following lunch, we unwound at Paradise Beach, As our team played cricket in the scorching beachside heat, we noticed other people mind voices. "Yaaru saamy ivununga adikura veyil la cricket vilaiyadranga."

A serene tea break by the beach at 4:00 PM marked the beginning of our evening activities.

Back to the resort for a swim and amidst 90's and 2k songs, we indulged in a game of throw ball, split into two energetic teams.

A fulfilling dinner at De Bussy Restaurant paved the way for a relaxing night ahead.

I was quite tired after the day's activities, but some of the others were still full of energy and wanted to play UNO cards. I eventually went to sleep around 11.30 PM, but I could still hear them playing cards until 2.00 AM! (I completely missed it)

Day 2:
The second day started with a relaxing breakfast of tea and egg omelette. We then played some gully cricket with some kids who were staying at the resort.

After checking out of the resort, we had breakfast at Bread and Chocolate. The food there was a bit on the pricey side, but it was delicious.

We then headed to the French colony for a photoshoot. We took some great team and individual photos.

For lunch, we went to a restaurant near the beach, but it was so crowded that we had to wait for a table. After lunch, we spent some time relaxing on Sand Beach and taking some more photos.

We left Pondicherry around 6.00 PM and made our way back to Chennai. On the way back, we stopped for some Jigarthanda near Mahabalipuram.

We finally reached Chennai around 8.00 PM. Sri showcased her driving prowess, reaching Chennai at breakneck speed.

It was a long but amazing trip, and I'm sure I'll never forget it. In every place, we had a lot of fun, and laughter and received counters from everyone. I hope everyone else enjoyed the trip as much as I did!
